We are currently growing out a lovely trio of Blue Orpingtons. We were expecting 2 other blue hens from a trade with a BYC friend, but that has fallen through and so we will start only with this trio.  I’ll post pics as they mature.

It’s not very many to start with, and I can’t be assured that they will be of great quality, but I’m sure they will be at least good quality. I will likely combine the Blue with my Black Orpingtons and depending on which rooster I choose, create Black/Blue Offspring or Black/Blue/Splash offspring.  I would like to keep the groups seperate, however my Gold Lace project may require a bit more space the first couple of years.
